Outlook (new) — 7 steps, ~3 minutes
- 1
Open the new Outlook app and click the gear icon in the top right to open Settings.
- 2
Select Accounts, then Signatures.
- 3
If you send from more than one account, choose the one this signature is for.
- 4
Click "Add signature" and give it a name.
- 5
Click into the editing box below and paste your signature.
- 6
Under "Select default signatures," choose this signature for new messages and, if you'd like, for replies and forwards.
- 7
Close Settings — new Outlook saves your changes automatically.
Good to know
- New Outlook only offers Paste and Paste as plain text — there's no "keep source formatting" option — so logos and photos can occasionally drop out. If an image doesn't show up, remove it and add it again with "Insert pictures" instead of pasting it.
- Each account gets its own signature list, so repeat these steps for every address you send from.
